Dress Code

Why do students wear uniforms?

Over the years, numerous religious (Awanas, Royal Rangers) and secular institutions (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, public schools and other clubs), have found that uniforms serve many purposes:


Items not allowed: visible body piercings, earrings on boys, visible temporary or permanent tatoos and body art, sleeveless or midriff baring shirts.

Official clothing: Girls

Skirts and Pants

Girls may wear below the knee navy skirts, navy slacks or capri pants (without ornamentation). 4 - 5 pocket western cut jeans - indigo blue only - no low-rise or ripped, torn or bleached. No flares, hip huggers, low rise or baggy pants.

Navy shorts or culottes - no jean shorts.

Shirts and Sweaters

Solid color polo or Oxford style shirts, tucked in at all times with appropriate undergarments. Midriff area is not to be exposed. Cardigan style sweater or jacket: navy blue - no pull overs allowed.

Shoes

Athletic, boots, dress shoes with appropriate hosiery. No sandals or open toes/heel shoes.

Official clothing: Boys

Pants

Navy slacks, 4-5 pocket western cut jeans - indigo blue only - no low-rise or ripped, torn or bleached. No flares, hip huggers, low rise or baggy pants

Navy shorts - no jean shorts

Shirts and Sweaters

Solid color polo or Oxford style shirts, tucked in at all times with appropriate undergarments. Midriff area is not to be exposed. Cardigan style sweater or jacket: navy blue - no pullovers are allowed.

Shoes

Athletic, boots, dress shoes with appropriate socks. No sandals.

All clothing should be without large designs or pictures or any added adornments like beads, sequins or embroidery unless is a school sponsored additive.
